Rainbow burgers

Version 2Kids climbing the walls? Struggling to keep them occupied these holidays? Get them cooking. These burgers are full of goodness, fun to make and freeze beautifully for an easy mid week dinner.

Into a large mixing bowl, add about 800g to 1kg of minced meat of your choice. Grate a couple of carrots and a large beetroot and add to the bowl. Chop a bunch of parsley and add to the bowl, along with a couple of eggs, a squirt of tomato sauce and a pinch of salt.

Get the kids to mix the ingredients together well and roll out patties.

Serve on toasted buns with your favourite condiments.
